Our Programs
Badger Diving Academy offers structured, level-based training groups that support athletes at every stage of their development. Learn more about our program options below.
Free Trials
Every new diver at Badger Diving Academy begins with a complimentary 1-hour trial practice. This session gives athletes the opportunity to experience the sport and decide if diving is the right fit, while also allowing our coaching staff to evaluate their current skill level and recommend the most appropriate training group.
The trial practice will occur during our regular practice time on Saturdays 10-11am to allow new participants and parents to connect with some of our more experienced members. We look forward to meeting new Badgers and invite you to register for a trial using the link below.
If you are unable to make it to a Saturday Free Trial, please contact info@badgerdiving.com to schedule an alternate Free Trial time.
Badger Basics
Badger Basics is our introductory lessons program designed for athletes who are new to the sport. This group focuses on building fundamental diving skills that create a strong foundation for future progression. Divers in Badger Basics will work to progress to BDP or be invited to Elite Teams.
These lessons provide a safe, fun, and encouraging environment where athletes can learn new skills, make friends, and develop a love for diving. Divers in this group are 12 & Under - any new divers 13 and over will be asked to join our High School group.
Badger Basics offers five practices per week (1.5 hour practices), with flexible options to attend one, two, or three practices based on interest, skill level, and coach recommendations. Badger Basics is a month-to-month registration allowing athletes to add, decrease, or change practice options monthly.
The practice offerings for Badger Basics is shown below.
Badger Development Program (BDP)
Badger Development Program is a levels-based training system designed to support divers as they progress through our long-term athlete development pathway. BDP athletes will progress through the full level structure or be invited to Elite Teams to continue development.
Multiple groups are offered for athletes of varying ages and skill levels, allowing each diver to train in an environment that best supports their growth. Divers are evaluated and placed into skill-based levels by our coaching staff to ensure appropriate challenge and progression. Levels 1 & 2 (Bronze), Levels 3 & 4 (Silver), and Levels 5 & 6 (Gold) will be grouped together for training.
Please reach out to Coach Andrew on guidance for which level best fits your athlete.

Badger Elite Team
Badger Elite Team is our invite-only competition team. This group is designed for divers who have previously qualified for USA Diving nationals and are training to final at Junior Nationals, earn selection to junior international competitions, and compete at senior national meets and Olympic Trials. Elite Team coaches may identify athletes that they believe fit the standard of the Elite Team and invite them to join this group.
Athletes in this group play a key role in upholding the culture and standards of our program, serving as leaders and role models for younger and developing divers.
Our Elite team practices on an annual training commitment (Sep-July)
